Street Use Permit
Title 7, Chapter 9 of the Glendale Municipal Code regulates and controls the use of streets in order that the health, safety and general welfare of the public and the good order of the City can be protected and maintained. Privilege for an obstruction beyond the lot line, or within a roadway, is required as provided in this section.
Before any application for a Street Use Permit is considered by the City Clerk, the application shall be reviewed by the Director of Public Works and Chief of Police for their recommendation as to the affect that the temporary closing of the street will have on the public safety and traffic movement.

Fee
$50.00
Late Penalty
Submit application at least 10 days prior to the event.
A double fee will be assessed on all delinquent applications.
Duration
The use of the street shall not exceed eight (8) hours.
The street shall be reopened no later than 10:00 p.m.
APPLICATION FOR STREET USE PERMIT FORM
In addition to the application form and fee, each application for a Street Use Permit shall be accompanied by a Petition for Street Use Permit form designating the proposed area of the street. Said petition is to be signed by not less than seventy-five percent (75%) of the residences along that portion of the street designated for the proposed use. Only adults at least eighteen (18) years of age and older will be considered valid signatures.
