Root Beer Bash

​The Second annual Root Beer Bash will be held at the Richard E. Maslowski Community Park on 

August 25, 2018.

As one of the largest Root Beer producers in the Universe, the City of Glendale proudly hosts its second-annual Root Beer Bash.  This free, family-friendly festival will include the Root Beer Olympics, a meet-and-greet with Sprecher’s Root Beer Founder, root beer-themed foods served by local restaurants, vendors, games, celebrity visits, crafts, a Boogie-Down Kids Dance Party, live music by Boomer Nation, and more.

Root Beer Bash starts in the early morning with Glendale’s “Stomp out Crime” Race/Walk for their police K-9 fundraiser.  The race starts at 9:30am and is followed by a Kid’s Dash at 9:45am.

After the race/walk, the Root Beer Bash begins starting at 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.

  • 11am to 3pm…Kid’s Games.
  • Noon…Meet Randy Sprecher, Founder of Sprecher Brewing Company
  • 1pm to 3pm…Kid’s Boogie Down Dance Party
  • 3:30pm to 5pm…Root Beer Olympics
  • 4pm to  7pm…Boomer Nation performs live!

Proceeds from the event will help support St. Francis Children’s Center School.
