Root Beer Bash

​The Third annual Root Beer Bash will be held at the Richard E. Maslowski Community Park on 

August 24, 2019.

As one of the largest Root Beer producers in the Universe, the City of Glendale proudly hosts its third-annual Root Beer Bash.  This free, family-friendly festival will include the Root Beer Olympics, a meet-and-greet with Sprecher’s Root Beer Founder, root beer-themed foods served by local restaurants, vendors, games, celebrity visits, crafts, a Boogie-Down Kids Dance Party, live music and more.  THE LOVE MONKEYS play in the outdoor amphitheater from 6pm to 9pm.

Root Beer Bash starts in the early morning with Glendale’s “Stomp out Crime” Race/Walk for their police K-9 fundraiser.  The race starts at 9:30am and is followed by a Kid’s Dash at 9:10am.

After the race/walk, the Root Beer Bash begins starting at 11:00 am until 9:00 pm.

    • 11am to 4pm…Kid’s Games, Tie-Dye Factory, Vendors, Artisans, Food Trucks, Activities, and More!
    • 10:30am to 2:30pm…The WaterStone Bank Petting Zoo.  Come feed the baby animals!
    • 11:30am The Goodyear Family Root Beer Bike Ride with a Root Beer Tour at Sprecher Brewing Company.
    • 1pm to 3pm…Kid Boogie Down Dance Party
    • 3:00pm to 4:00pm…the Beglan Academy of Irish Dancers 
    • 4:00pm to 6:00pm…Live remote and prize wheel featuring all your favorite hits from 99.1 The Mix.
    • 3:30pm to 5pm…Root Beer Olympics by St. Francis Children’s Center
    • 6pm to 9pm…The Love Monkeys Perform at the Outdoor Johnson Controls Amphitheatre. Bring your chairs and blankets.
