North Shore Municipal Court

Jurisdiction


Pursuant to Wisconsin Statues, the Municipal Court deals exclusively with non-criminal cases involving city ordinance violations in the form of traffic citations, Municipal Code violation, and contested parking tickets. Offenses brought before our Court are violations that occur within the City limits.

Due to Covid-19, the following changes have been implemented:

INITIAL APPEARANCE (The date indicated on the top of your citation):

Please contact the prosecuting attorney 1 week before the date indicated on the top of your citation to resolve your matter by telephone. Failure to contact the prosecuting attorney by the date indicated on the top of your citation will result in entry of a default judgement, finding you guilty or the issuance of a summons or warrant for your arrest.

For all citations issued by the Glendale Police Department, you should call Attorney Rebecca Boyle at 414-257-3564 or 414-257-2373. Please leave a detailed message including the correct spelling of your first and last name, as well as your return telephone number that has active voicemail. She will return your telephone call and will leave you a detailed message on how to proceed.

For all citations issued by the Bayside Police Department you should call Attorney Elizabeth Miles at 414-225-1491. Please leave a detailed message including the correct spelling of your first and last name, as well as your return telephone number that has active voicemail. She will return your telephone call and will leave you a detailed message on how to proceed.

RETURN APPERANCE (The date given to you at a prior Court appointment or by mail):

To check-in arrive at 5:00 p.m. for all evening dates or 8:30 a.m. for the morning session.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED BY ALL, BRING YOUR OWN PERSONAL MASK WITH YOU.  Attendance will be limited to the defendant, one parent or legal guardian if the defendant is a Juvenile, subpoenaed witness(s) and if applicable an interpreter. All family members or accompanying friends will be REQUIRED to remain outside of the building. Please plan for childcare, if needed.

TO MAKE A PAYMENT DURING THIS TIME, please do so ONLINE (see the links below). You may also mail a check or money order or use the stainless-steel payment box located in the parking lot median at 5909 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, Glendale, WI 53209. Please make all checks payable to the Clerk of Court.

Payments may be made in person at the Clerk of Court’s office during business hours 0730a.m. to 330pm M-F. Payment methods accepted in person are cash, money order, personal check or cashier’s check. All checks should be made payable to the Clerk of Court.

All citations issued by the Bayside Police Department may be paid using one of the following links:

**If you do not have your citation number or know the date the citation was issued, you may email the Court to request it at court@glendalewi.gov. Note: a response may not be immediate, but you will receive the information. 

Please note: Payments for Parking citations may only be paid using this payment link if you contested the parking citation and discussed the parking citation with the Prosecuting Attorney. 

You will be assessed a fee to use debit or credit. Debit and Credit card payments are accepted ONLINE ONLY. The full citation number is REQUIRED to make your payment. Please contact the Clerk of Court if you no longer have access to your citation.
